The Activated charcoal that we use is a high-quality UK source made from heated coconut shells, which would otherwise be a waste product. Activated charcoal is known for its natural detoxification and adsorbent properties which are excellent when it comes to cleansing. It helps to remove oils and toxins, leaving hair and skin feeling smooth.

Care Instructions

When your shampoo bar is not in use, always ensure that it is kept in a dry condition with good airflow around it to prolong its life and prevent it from going soft. Typically shampoo bars last a lot longer than regular shampoo and will give your more washes when stored correctly.

The tea tree oil we use is certified as organic. Tea tree oil is well known for treating minor skin conditions.

Panthenol, also known as pro-vitamin B5 is a synthetic ingredient that can help to improve the texture of damaged hair.

Our Raw Cocoa Butter originates from Ghana and is certified as organic by the soil association. The cocoa butter is formed by cold pressing of the whole bean and is unrefined, which is why you may notice a chocolatey fragrance to the product. Raw cocoa butter is rich in natural fats and vitamin E, which is an excellent antioxidant.

The cetyl alcohol we use is vegetable-derived and enhances the texture of the bar.

We use a concentrated blend of mild surfactants to help cleanse the hair thoroughly and minimise irritation which can often arise with harsh cleansers. Sodium cocoyl isethionate is an extremely mild high foaming surfactant derived from coconut oil and helps to leave a silky-smooth after-feel. Sodium lauryl sulfoacetate is a mild vegetable-derived surfactant which produces a rich and creamy lather. Coco glucoside and glyceryl oleate is a surfactant blend that deposits glyceryl oleate on the surface of hair and skin, which can help to moisturise and soften the hair.

The fragrance used in this bar is a rich and long-lasting fresh and woody fragrance made with synthetic ingredients.
